Legend
The map shows mobile network coverage in the selected area, especially the availability of mobile services outdoors (e.g., streets, public places). Please note that the actual availability and quality of the services may be influenced by factors like weather conditions, topography, terrain, insulation, insulating glass, existing infrastructure, buildings and the number of users. Electromagnetic fields generated by other sources, such as electrical devices, can also impair the quality of the signal. The coverage shown is based on various calculations that can’t take into account all the specific aspects of physical signal propagation in a specific place. The map serves as a guide and Sunrise accepts no liability for the depicted mobile coverage.
Different technologies for different needs:
5G high-speed
offers the advantages of basic 5G or 5G SA thanks to greater bandwidth at higher frequencies, but with faster Internet connections of up to 2 Gbit/s and higher capacities.
Basic 5G/5G Standalone (5G SA)
offers fast Internet connections at up to 1 Gbit/s. Basic 5G and 5G SA offer faster speeds, lower latency, increased capacity, better network stability and energy efficiency compared to earlier mobile communication technologies (3G/4G). 5G SA also offers improved 5G coverage in buildings, longer battery life and enables reliable calls via 5G (Voice over 5G, Vo5G).
4G (LTE+/LTE Advanced)
offers fast Internet connections at up to 1 Gbit/s and reliable calls via 4G (via Voice over LTE, VoLTE). 4G+ (LTE Advanced) allows data transmission speeds that are up to three times faster than 4G (LTE).
3G (UMTS, HSPA, HSPA+)
offers both data transmission and voice calls. Sunrise will stop operating the outdated 3G mobile technology from 10 June 2025. 3G was introduced to the Sunrise network around 20 years ago and is inefficient compared to 4G and 5G. Switching off 3G will free up more capacity for 4G and 5G.
